Our family spent New Years 2025 in the desert west of Tucson, Arizona. A great horned owl living in our attic added his hoots to the howling of coyotes every evening in a delightful, spooky concert.
Sunset over the Tucson Mountains almost exactly coincided with the rising of the moon that week to provide a beautiful backdrop to the sonorous joys of the desert night.
